About Us
Welcome to Southside Church of Christ
We are simply Christians serving the Lord according to His word. We worship according to the New Testament example as found in the Bible: Prayer (Acts 2:42; 1 Thes. 5:17, 25), singing (Eph. 5:18-19; Col. 3:16), preaching/teaching from His word (Acts 2:42; 1 Tim. 3:15), congregational giving to carry on the Lord’s work (1 Cor. 16:1-2; 2 Cor. 9:7), and observance of the Lord’s supper (communion) each Lord’s Day (Acts 20:7; 1 Cor. 10:16; 11:20-30).
